Transparent, Role-Based Pricing
For recruitment from the Philippines through Personela you pay two separate things: a one-time agency brokerage fee, plus the real costs of bringing the worker to Bulgaria.
A One-Time Fee, Set by Role
Charged once per worker. It covers candidate selection, preliminary interviews, coordination with our partner organisation in the Philippines, support preparing the required documents, and management of the hiring process.
| Role | Brokerage fee / worker |
|---|---|
| Nannies & childcare | €2,000 |
| Waiters & bartenders | €1,800 |
| Construction workers | €1,500 |
| General workers | €1,200 |
The exact fee depends on the role and the number of workers requested.
How the Brokerage Fee Is Paid
Split across three milestones, so payment tracks real progress.
On signing the contract
Covers the start of selection, work with our partner in the Philippines, interviews, and administrative costs.
Non-refundableOn permit / visa approval
Due once the work permit and the type D visa are approved.
On arrival in Bulgaria
The final balance, due when the worker arrives in Bulgaria.
Two Separate Payments
As the employer, you make two distinct payments for staffing from the Philippines.
1. Brokerage fee to the agency
Paid on signing the brokerage agreement, per the agreed terms and price list. The amount is set by the role and the number of workers requested.
2. Arrival costs in Bulgaria
The real costs of legally bringing the worker to Bulgaria and starting work — paid separately from the brokerage fee, and for the employer's account.
What the Employer Covers
The costs of organising the legal arrival and start of work in Bulgaria — including, but not limited to:
- State and administrative fees for work and residence permits
- Translation, notarisation and legalisation of documents
- Consular fees for the type D visa
- Medical exams and tests required by the authorities
- Flight from the Philippines to Bulgaria
- Medical insurance for the period required by law
- Airport pickup and transport to accommodation or work
- Suitable accommodation, where set in the contract or required by law
- Residence registration and document issuance after arrival
- Other costs required by Bulgarian and Philippine regulations
These costs are paid against presented documents or a pre-agreed budget — building trust and keeping the process transparent for Bulgarian employers.
